"The Gold of the Forest" is a tactile and vibrant artwork that highlights one of our most beloved Swedish treasures – the chanterelle. Inspired by the richness of the forest, this unique piece was created within the theme "Falkenberg’s Pantry," part of the art exhibition during Falkenberg Food Days – the annual local harvest festival held in September.

Using air-dry clay and acrylic on a framed canvas, I sculpted a pattern of golden chanterelles that seem to burst from the surface. The texture is vivid and three-dimensional – a blend of art, craft, and tribute to nature’s own design.
